31 Days- A Dire Prophecy

ADV DireProphecy

Debbie grew up under a cloud of dire prophecy.

Debbie  remembers hearing her third-grade teacher tell her mother,”Debbie is a sweet little girl but she’ll never do well in school.”

When she finally got up the nerve to share her dream of writing, another teacher told her, ” You can’t write, Debbie.  You can’t even spell.’

Debbie never forgot the words, ” Let’s go straight to the Chubby Department.”

It was God who planted the dream to be a writer into Debbie’s little heart.

It was God who nurtured the dream.

God met her in  the books she read .

God  held her & whispered  to her, “You can read,  You can spell, You can write. ”

The dyslexic little girl born in 1948 in Yakima Washington is  Debbie Macomber.

She has authored 155+  books  & numerous anthologies.  Several of her books have become movies.

Debbie  had the courage to keep rejecting the dire prophecies.

Debbie refused to accept  the cruel words designed to kill life.

Debbie chose to see herself from God’s perspective.
